Photo Excursions
There are a number of amazing photo excursions that will be offered pre- and post-conference as well as during the conference.
Make sure that you plan your trip to take advantage of the amazing photo opportunities in the Calgary area.
NOTE
Conference Registration is required to book Photo Excursions.
As some excursions have limited space, early registration is advised.
Important Information for All Photo Excursions
TOUR CHANGES: All tours are built for minimal profit. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel any photo excursion if low attendance causes loses.
WALKING REQUIREMENTS: Most tours (except those in downtown Calgary) involve light to moderate walking on uneven terrain. Comfortable walking shoes or light hiking boots are expected.
WEATHER PREPAREDNESS: Alberta's weather can change quickly! Be ready for rain showers or cool temperatures, even on sunny days. For National Park tours, dress in layers and bring a warm jacket.
MEALS & REFRESHMENTS: Unless otherwise noted, attendees are responsible for their own meals. Bottled water and light snacks will be provided.
INCLUDED IN THE PRICES: All tours include driver gratuities.
PARK PASSES: For excursions to National Parks or Bar U Ranch, please bring your own valid National Park Pass, as these are not included in the tour price.
DEPARTURE & RETURNS: All tours will begin and end at SAIT.
BUG SPRAY: May not be needed but tour leaders will have supply available.
DRONES: Drones are not legal in all parks, historic sites, and populated areas and not recommended near wildlife. NO DRONES.

Turner Valley's Historic Gas Plant and Bar U Ranch- 1- Day - July 17
