Information & Itinerary

The majority of thie 3.5 hour trip includes a golf cart tour of the park.

The majority of the Provincial Park is located on the north bank of the Bow River between Calgary and Cochrane, with views of the Rockies in the background.


Expect to see wildflowers, cattle, raptors and possibly a train passing by.


The park is inhabited by a multitude of wildlife including deer, coyotes, Richardson Ground squirrels and red foxes, as well occasional badgers, and moose.

Ken Wright

Main Leader

Ken Wright is a mirrorless camera photographer, who specializes in nature photography. His work is driven by a desire to capture nature’s beauty, accurately and realistically. During the photo excursion he is looking forward to touring you around the Glenbow Ranch, Alberta’s newest provincial park. It is situated along the north side of the Bow River, with great views of the Canadian Rockies.
